“I was born and raised in Madera. My parents are Dario and Lorraine Boria. My father donated the land for and built the Madera Rescue Mission, and always wanted to give back to the community.

I have been married to my husband, Robert, for the past 25 years. We have a son, Brian, his wife Amy, and two grandchildren, Bryce and Abigail. Robert and I are members of Westside Christian Fellowship Church, and I serve as church secretary. I’m in charge of all the special events at Westside, and on the board for the women’s ministry group.

I’m also on the committee for the Madera Ministerial Association’s Nite Lite Harvest event at the Madera Fairgrounds, and I’m the Treasure for the Women’s Auxiliary, and have been on the board of directors for the Madera Rescue Mission for the past year. My father was on the Rescue Mission board, as well, and I feel like it’s my legacy to follow in his footsteps at the Mission.

My hobbies include baking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. Thank you, God bless you, sincerely,

Donna Adams.
